| 2006 Cuetec Cues US
Open The Sandia Hotel and Casino is host for the 2006 Cuetec Cues U.S. Open. The Hotel addition was recently added and as you can see it is a beauty. 
The scenery and the atopsphere can't be beat. The swimming pool looks very inviting, but it's just a little chilly for a dip in New Mexico today !!  The tournament begins. From front to back: Liz Ford, Belinda Calhoun, Supandra Boonpasook, and a fan. MAN, everybody is watching this stuff!  Local Albuquerque player Anna Kostanian, has made a quite a few of WPBA events this year.  Melissa Herndon has her eye on the rock after a tough shot.  Speaking of eyes, these Irish eyes, "Aint foolin around". Julie Kelly working through the preliminaries  Gerda Hofstatter making sure the rack is "spot on".  Allison Fisher came out on top of a hill-hill match with Helena Thornfeldt on Saturday.  The Texas Tornado scored a 7-2 win over TV Table newcomer Pamela Treadway.  Monica Webb came back from a 6-3 deficit to defeat Julie Kelly 7-6.  A hill-hill win for Kim Shaw over Karen Corr got Sunday play underway.  Vivian made a great comeback attempt, but fell just short against Allison Fisher.  Kim Shaw scored a 7-4 win over Monica Webb to earn her spot in the finals.  Your champion, Allison Fisher.  |
