Welcome to the Gateway Center in Rocky Mount,
NC. Aptly named since for the 3rd year in a row Rocky Mount will act as
the gateway to the 2007 WPBA Classic Tour season.

A collection of tools
used to build a professional table from scratch. Quite amazing isn't
it!

As with all tools, they mean nothing without the proper
person operating them. If you have never seen Al Conte assemble a table,
you have missed something. Without a doubt one of the finest craftsmen in
the business.

Meanwhile the players are having
to work hard too.......

The Sponsors of the Rocky Mount event hosted a dinner
for the players. Safe to say, the WPBA loves Rocky Mount.

Afterwards, a Pro-am was held and it
was kicked off with an official break by 101 year old Fred Davis.

and the fun began......Ga Young Kim
directing traffic on the table

Even 101 year old Fred Davis knows
you can always learn a little something from Karen Corr

Sarah Ellerby giving a little
bit of the ol' shark to Gerda.

As the tournament begins everybody gets ready to watch the
action, including Wendy Jans and Sarah Rousey, as Julie Gabriel takes her
shot.

Darlene Stinson takes careful aim.

Anna Kostanian debating
options.

Julie Kelly considering the next best move.

Wendy Jans on her way to a
win.

Allison Fisher sights the
line.

Gerda Hofstatter gets ready for launch.

Only Vivian can whistle
while she works.....

Sometimes its just not the shot you were after......Jeanette
Lee

As the Finals began it was Allison
Fisher vs Ga-Young Kim. Ga-Young put Allison in a tough spot
early.

And while Allison put Ga-Young in a couple of tough spots,
Ga-Young won the match with a strong finish.

The second match of the
day was our 2006 Rookie of the Year, Xiaoting Pan vs Vivian Villarreal.

Vivian worked hard to find the winning strategy

But Xiaoting
jumped ahead and stayed there for the win.
The finals was the first ever All-Asian Final in WPBA
Classic Tour history, and what a match it was.

Both players had to
concentrate to gain an advantage

Both had to
make tough shots,....Xiaoting Pan reaches here....

And Ga-Young with a tough
shot as well

But in the end the Two-Time and Reigning World Champion
seized the day, Congratulations Ga-Young what a great way to start
2007!!
