Jasmin shouts “I LOVE SOARING EAGLE” after defending her title

As the Tournament Director of the WPBA Soaring Eagle Masters, We are delighted to share a comprehensive overview of the exhilarating competition that unfolded over four days. This tournament was a testament to the skill, determination, and passion of the players who graced the tables, and a celebration of the sport we all love.
The tournament kicked off with a strong start, with players from around the globe vying for the coveted title. The opening rounds saw some exceptional performances, with players such as Yuki Hiraguchi, Bean Hung, and Kelly Fisher setting the tone for the tournament with their commanding victories.
However, the tournament was not without its surprises. Allison Fisher, a dominant force in women’s tournaments, had a disappointing run, finishing in 13th-16th place. This opened the door for players such as Veronique Menard and Kristina Zlateva to shine, placing alongside seasoned players like Margarita Fefilova, Tzu-Chien Wei, Seo Seoa, and Kristina Tkach.
The final match was a thrilling rematch from last year between Kelly Fisher and Jasmin Ouschan. Despite Fisher's quest for redemption, it was Ouschan who emerged victorious, securing her fourth title at Soaring Eagle.
The tournament was also a platform for players to share their personal journeys. Kristina Tkach, despite her commendable performance, spoke about her struggle with energy levels during her last evening match. Kristina Zlateva, on the other hand, expressed satisfaction with her performance, highlighting her resilience in fighting back from a 4:7 deficit to win 8:7.
The tournament was not just about the players, but also about the fans, both in person and virtual. The WPBA offered free streams of the main table throughout the event via YouTube, with various players filling in as commentators. The interaction with live viewers and the lively commentary added a unique flavor to the event.
